Bam

The town is located in spacious plain between two mountain chains called Barez and Kaboodi. Its distance to Tehran is about 1283 Kilometers south.the weather of the region is warm in the plain and moderate in the mountains.

The Old Bam was one of the five section of the state of Pars. Its strategic location on the roads which connects the south-west of Iran to Afghanistan, Systan and Balouchestan, has gave it a large militant and commercial importance since the Sasanid Empire. The most important places to visit in Bam are as following:
Deh Bakri country side which is located on the road between Bam and Kerman.
Maskoon country side which is located on the road between Bam and jeroft.

Arg-e Tarikhi ( the Famous Historical Castle of Bam ), which is located on the north-east side of Bam.
Arg-e Jadid ( the New Castle ).
The beautiful natural views, landscapes, orange farms and date forests.
